Nick is the CEO of food-tech company Whisk.com, the world’s leading Cognitive Food Platform. Whisk powers smart and shoppable food experiences for some of the world’s largest food retailers, publishers and brands. Whisk uses Deep Learning (AI) to map millions of data points on users, recipes and store products across the world in order to provide recommendations based on this data. In 2012 Nick first pitched Whisk.com to business mogul Lord Sugar in the final of the UK hit TV-show The BBC Apprentice, where Nick achieved the series' best task-win record. In 2017 Nick was awarded an honorary doctorate (DSc) in Enterprise from Aston University. Prior to founding Whisk, Nick worked for Deutsche Bank’s Investment Banking team.
